This blog was brought about by a colleague who strongly suggested I have some kind of on-line presence.

With his help, here it is – there is nothing much to speak of at current but will add more content over time.

The blog will cover anything suitable from my working day, this includes my work for my current employer PBT International – in terms of customising their ERP solution (Syteline 8 by Infor) and any network administration that I feel may be beneficial.

A little more about me – I’m a 35 year old contractor currently based in Devon.
I’ve been in the IT industry since late 2000 and in that time I’ve become a fully qualified MCSA/MCSE (2003 server) and MCITP:SA/EA (2008 server).  I also hold various MCTS qualifications – mostly covering my MCSA/MCSE. In addition, I hold a current MCSA (2012) due to the examinations passed for my MCITP.

As well as having a background in system/network administration, I’m also an enthusiastic amateur .Net developer – broadening my skill-set to include C#/VB .Net and ASP .Net. Whilst I am not a professional developer and am self-taught, I have managed to learn quickly and deliver what has been asked by my employer in my current role.

In addition to being a .Net developer, I’ve learnt some T-SQL – it’s not much but I’m learning on the job with it and am using it to expand my abilities.
